PMS MAYO MAYO vessel had great and honorific history in diving operation , that encourage the Russian government to choose the vessel to help in recovering the Kursk nuclear submarine that sank in the in the Barents Sea.
MAYO was built as the STENA MAYO , later renamed in DSND Mayo and is now working for Petroleum Marine sevices Company in Egypt as the PMS MAYO. The D.S.V. PMS Mayo is a single hull diving support vessel with a raised forecastle and an open aft deck,The deckhouse is located amidships and a helicopter deck is situated forward.
